Welcome to AACS

Welcome to the AACS website, which now includes several new features.  Most noticeable is the interactive map of the United States.  This feature offers links to member schools in each state and state association.  In addition, past issues of the Journal for Christian Educators, Legal Reports, and a sample Emergency Response Plan are now accessible to member schools.  To obtain a username and password, simply contact the AACS office at 423-629-4280 or email lpotter@aacs.org. 

National Legislative Conference 2009
“Repair the Breach” provided an appropriate theme for the 2009 AACS National Legislative Conference, as attendees were challenged and encouraged to stand strong in the current partisan political climate. Administrators, pastors, teachers, and students from various parts of the country traveled to the Nation’s Capitol to lobby Members of Congress on issues of importance to Christian education, as well as the family and religious freedom. Highlights of the Conference included a Congressional briefing in the U.S. Capitol, the annual Legislative Banquet where Dr. Charles Walker was recognized and honored for his years of service to AACS, as well as a special after-hours tour of the Capitol with Representative Randy Forbes (VA).  Read more...
