A Welcome from the AACS President
No words express the driving force behind Christian education as emphatically as the phrase, for the children. The Christian school movement exists for the children. Teachers teach, parents sacrifice, and churches build classrooms for the children. The Christian school's purpose is to guide children to academic maturity and to seek to conform their minds to the image of Christ. The children of today will be the leaders of tomorrow. Sharpening these young minds and building their testimonies to influence the world for Christ is the heartbeat of Christian education. The values taught and modeled in the Christian school shine forth as a ray of light in this modern world. An honest examination of Biblical truth and of the issues facing our society will lead to a clear understanding of the necessity of Christian education and why it is truly for the children.
As AACS President, I pledge to every administrator, pastor, teacher, parent and student a renewed vision and vitality for the great mission of Christian education. Before God and with His help, we have the responsibility to be the best and provide the best for the benefit of those we serve. I promise to serve and lead with enthusiasm. I am committed to purity, praise, prayer and empowerment from God.
